Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for an Global Commodity Manager - Electronics opening in our Procurement function.
What You Will Do Reporting to the Global Sourcing Director - Electronics, the Global Commodity Manager - Electronics will provide key leadership and influence in helping to shape the Electronic Components strategy. This person will work with cross functional teams to create a world class component strategy and supply base across a wide range of commodity families (i.e. PCB's, LED's, LCD's, micros, relays, sensors, passives, actives, etc).
Requirements
What You Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree in business, procurement or engineering, Master's degree preferred Strong sourcing background in contract negotiation and execution, bid events, supplier development, BCCS, and should cost analysis. Detailed knowledge of electronic components and/or commodities, project management, quality sciences and procurement Past experience managing and/or creating a global electronic component and/or commodity strategy Working knowledge of other functions such as quality control, supplier quality, finance, electronic design and engineering Experience leading teams to; set a vision, develop your team to achieve this vision and breakthrough any roadblocks that hinder results Excellent communication and team-building skills Ability to travel globally
